We're Off to See The Wizard Blog Hop Revisited

We're Off to See the Wizard the wonderful Wizard of Oz to hopefully get the Tin Man a heart, the Lion courage, and the Scarecrow a brain! But there's the poppy fields to beware of as you could get very sleepy! The Wicked Witch but we know she's afraid of water. The flying monkeys . . . just totally freaky looking!!!! You're probably still dizzy from the spinning whirling twirling house and watching all those things passing by like a nightmare expecially that Miss Gulch on her bicycle! Poor Toto hiding in the basket, but can you blame him? Don't pay any attention to the man behind the curtain as he knows not what he speaks! And then there are the delightful munchkins that sing 3 octives highly than humanly possible. I almost forgot the good witch Glinda - how could I forget her --- she was just too sugary sweet to my standards but as a Good Witch goes, she was the best, but why didn't she just tell Dorothy she had the power to return all along and wait until the end - geesh! And then only bad witches are ugly --- come on now! Its the Merry Old Land of Oz! I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore Toto. . . .

We're paying homage to the Wizard of Oz today with our blog hop! So, grab your beverage of choice and those ruby red slippers of yours, click them twice and repeat after me - "there's no place like home, there's no place like home"!

For Blog Candy we have a 7 - piece paper assortment of 12 x 12 pieces of paper by Paper House Productions

We have a great line-up for you today and you should have arrived from Anita~  If not, or you just dropped in to visit today, we don't want you to miss a single story of the travels of our "characters" from start to finish and would love for you to begin at the beginning of our hop

Hope you enjoyed my project and you have reached the end of this blog hop. Now I must send you somewhere over the rainbow.

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too Blog Hop

Welcome to Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too Blog Hop and Pooh's happy little corner at the 100 Acre Woods. Who doesn't love the cuddly loveable bear that gets stuck in a honey jar???

How do you spell "Tigger" T-I-double"guh"-errrrr, that spells Tigger! that's how!!!! "The wonderful thing about tiggers. Is tiggers are wonderful things.Their tops are made out of rubber. Their bottoms are made out of springs. They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy fun, fun, fun, fun, FUN! But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is I'm the only one. III'm the only one!"

Now, put these two buddies together and what adventures we shall have as will be demonstrated along the way in our hop today!!!

We have a fabulous list of friends today with their wonderful tumbly grumbles in the tummy line up for you today beginning with Lynne at If you have arrived from Anita~  then you haven't fallen out of the forest!!!

Oh, did I mention that there's blog candy???? HMMMMM, guess I didn't. There will be one lucky winner who stops at each stop along the way and leaves a remark of Winnie the Pooh and Friends Cricut Cartridge!!!!! Yeee Hawwww --- I saw that smile!

Well, my project isn't finished.... I'm making a book for my new nephews. My sister just adopted them and they arrived in the United States right before Easter. She adopted them from Ethiopia. They had been living in an orphanage since they were born. Misiker is 3 and Jack just turned 1. They are beautiful boys!!! This now makes 7 kids for her!! I know!!! But she is a wonderful mother. Her oldest is 21.

Anyway, I don't think the boys had very many Winnie the Pooh books, so I decided to hand make them one. I still have to assemble Rabbit, Piglet, Eeyore, and Christopher Robin. And I'm going to put cute little quotes from each of them.
When the book is completed, I promise I will put it on my blog. This is going to be a huge project!!

I found the designs from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs
and all the cardstock was Stampin' Up
I also used Stampin' Pastels to chalk the sides.

You can either follow the empty honey jars along the path or you can follow our incredible line-up:

  1. Lynne ~

  3. Kimberly ~
  4. Linda

I not only want to thank you for stopping today to visit but in the admirable words of our hero, Winnie the Pooh, "A day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey left inside." and I know "We will be friends until forever, just you wait and see."

Happy Hopping!!

Butterflies Are Free Blog Hop

Please listen to Butterfly Kisses, by Bob Carlisle, when veiwing my blog.

Have you ever watched a butterfly just casually meandering and fluttering by - it looks so peaceful, tranquil and free! They get to land where they want, smell all the flowers and just let the world pass them by. The colors of the butterfly are magnificent with seeming to be no two alike!!!!

Today, we are going to be fluttering with our butterflies and taking you on journeys whether it be sniffing the flowers, watching the world pass us by or just showing off our magnificent colors!!! A nice lazy day, so, let get fluttering.....

If you stopped by to visit me today, I really appreciate it but would love for you to see all the butterflies in our hop. The butterfly journey starts with Lynne at Her Craftiness If you fluttered here by Anita then you are on the right mark to sniff the flowers.

Hi everybody,

I've been wanting to do a give away, and the perfect time approached. Anyone that knows me, knows that I can't stand to have my magazines messed up, even the slightest bit. Well my kids got me two Paper Crafts Magazines for Mother's Day. They were both $14.99, special editions. One of the magazines had a small tear in the upper corner if the seam. I called the company and they are replacing it for free. So I decided to give this magazine away!

If you aren't familiar with Paper Crafts Magazines, they are the best for card making. They have beautiful cards, with recipes, usually in 5 or less steps. The really neat thing about particular magazine is, if you are a Calendar Girl with Lynne's Blog at Her Craftiness, you are going to love it!!!

Here is the giveaway

You get the Paper Crafts 365 Cards Magazine, 1 small package of Stampin' Up Bold Brights Card Stock, Close to My Heart Summer Days Stamp Set, and 5 i-clear Stamps.

What you need to do is... Become a follower of my Blog and leave a comment. You can get extra entries if someone says that you sent them, also if you subscribe by email. This will stay open for 10 days.

Good Luck!

If you have just stopped for a visit today -- welcome and glad you came but I wouldn't want you to miss a single testimony along the way and would want you to start at the beginning with Lynne at Her Craftiness ( If you arrived from Lynne  at Her Craftiness then you are following a mother's love.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! And Happy Mother's Day! The image I used was from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs, A Mother's Love. I decided to try my hand at making it digital. I had a lot of fun doing it. I used the My Memories Suite software.

This is my Great Grandmother, Mimi. I loved her so much. As a child, I would spend weekends over at her house. I don't think I ever remember a bad thing about her. One of my fondest memories is watching her make Chicken and Dumplings. She would roll the dumplings out on her dryer. Her house was always so clean. Not too long ago, I was helping my sister pack to move, and I found some of my Mimi's items. I just broke down in tears. I had forgotten that she had taught me, around the age of 10, to make handmade cards. I found one of her cards. The details aren't anything we can do now. She did everything by hand and sold them by the box. She was the greatest lady on earth.
I love you, Mimi!
Here are some cards that my Mimi made,

That is actual thread on the card and she didn't use a sewing machine. She was amazing! These were made over 30 years ago.

Also, I have CANDY!!! It's FLAIR, 8 Adhesive Badges. Join my blog and leave a comment with you contact info.

I thank you for stopping and checking out my project and must send you on your way to Lisa's Blog.

Apple With Worm Magnet

Good morning my Scrappy Friends,

I'm sure everyone is happy it is Friday!! I'm getting ready for a couple of big blog hops. I hope you join them. I'm in the process of trying to get all of the kids out of bed and out to school. Today seems harder, than others. I think they have summer fever. I'm going to show you this really cute apple I put together, yesterday. I thought  the Lady Bug magnet turned out really nice on my freezer, so I decided to make another magnet. You can get your own Apple with a Worm at under the dollar downloads.

I used Stampin' Up card stock - real red, garden green, black, white, brown, concord crush, and gable green. I sponged with cheery cobbler.

Have a wonderful day!!

My Katie Bug, Lady Bug

Good morning everybody,

Today, I made Katie her Lady Bug, for her school locker. I put a magnet on the back, so she could hang it on the door. When she was born I called her my little Katie Bug.  She chose the colors from Stampin' Up, melon mambo and black. I cut it out using my cameo. You can get the lady bug design from and look under Cute as a Bug.

Have a wonderful day!!
